Construction officially commenced at the end of 2024 and is expected to be completed and opened in 2030, primarily serving residents of the Hung Shui Kiu/Ha Tsuen New Development Area. In addition, there is also a Light Rail Hung Shui Kiu Station of the same name and related bus stops within the area.
