A detached house at Twelve Peaks on Mount Kellett Road is now privately listed for sale in its current condition, with an asking price of $310 million, translating to $79,487 per square foot. The owner, who purchased the property in 2018, is now selling it at a price $140 million lower than the original purchase price of $450 million, marking a 31% drop in value over seven years.
According to Colliers Hong Kong, the house offers a saleable area of approximately 3,900 square feet, featuring four en-suite bedrooms. The property boasts panoramic views of the Southside and surrounding mountains. It is equipped with luxury finishes, branded kitchen appliances, a private elevator, a swimming pool, a garden, and two parking spaces.
Built by Sun Hung Kai Properties in 2012, Twelve Peaks comprises only 12 stand-alone houses with an exclusive clubhouse. The estate is located near The Peak Galleria. During its peak, one of the houses set an Asian record for the highest price per square foot, selling at $152,000 per square foot.
The current owner, reportedly a mainland Chinese buyer, purchased the home for $450 million in 2018.
