Tsing Yi Estate (English: Tsing Yi Estate) is a public housing estate in Hong Kong. Project number: TW04[3], located in the central part of Tsing Yi Island in the New Territories. It is the third public housing estate built on Tsing Yi Island. Formerly known as Tsing Yi Market, it is adjacent to Fung Shue Wo and Tsing Yi Village 4. Part of the land was acquired through land reclamation[4]. It is also one of the few public housing estates that has all Y2, Y3 and Y4 type buildings. Tsing Yi Village was completed and occupied from 1 June 1986 to 1 October 1989[5] and was managed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority. The flats were subsequently sold to tenants under the Tenants Purchase Scheme (Phase 4) in February 2001[6]. An Owners' Corporation has now been established.
